Learn all about the advantages of linking your Active Directory to the CargoVIS or ParcelVIS software, from streamlining your logins to the simplified configuration of user rights.
In our tip of the month we talk about the use of letter templates in CargoVIS and ParcelVIS. Use your pre-made letter template, for example, to set up a letter with photos of damage to a package or other evidence quickly and without having to switch applications.

Benefit from the advantages of connecting your user administration to the registration in CargoVIS and ParcelVIS! From version 1.5. and up it is possible to connect the DIVIS user database of the CargoVIS and ParcelVIS software to your Active Directory with regard to users, policies and camera access lists.
This allows quick access while fully protected against unauthorized access through detailed rights management.

How to use letter templates in ParcelVIS and CargoVIS
If you want to use ready-made cover letters (with pre-defined text content) to communicate the results of your research in ParcelVIS or CargoVIS to affected parties, both applications offer the possibility to compile all relevant information and, if necessary, images with the help of a template directly in the software and save everything as a letter. This can then either be sent digitally or be printed and sent by mail.
Thus, for example, you can communicate the image documentation of damage to a package, or prove when a specific shipment has arrived at your depot, while spending only little time effort on it and without having to open any other applications.
