Indoor positioning with Location+ for more transparency in the hall
In the event of damaged or missing shipments in the hall, storage or transport service providers are usually the ones to bear the loss when there is no reliable evidence or the goods can just no longer be found. Options for the indoor positioning of operating or production equipment or other moving objects are therefore increasingly becoming key functions in applications for logistical environments.
Location+, our Plus+ function for indoor positioning, records location data (coordinates), which are merged with the other shipment information (video and scan data) and clearly displayed in CargoVIS. With the combination of all this data, package research can be considerably accelerated and simplified. Internal career change: DIVIS employees finding new objective

Flexibility is a motto we also live internally at DIVIS. The urge for change sometimes inspires people to look for a new career objective.
As far as possible, we are happy to offer our employees the option of finding a new area of responsibility within the company. Our two colleagues, Danny Kroll and Patrick Lage, have made use of this opportunity.
You may have already missed Patrick in assembly and Danny in sales.
Both are now strengthening the DIVIS back office in project planning and design, Danny Kroll since August 2018 and Patrick Lage since September 2019.
The two were prepared for their new tasks in a thorough training. The change is a win for all sides. Especially in the area of project planning, not only special knowledge in the creation and calculation of camera concepts is required. In addition, one should be familiar with the special features of the DIVIS business and the customer requirements including all internal processes in the areas of hardware, software and project management. It is therefore also a benefit for DIVIS that the back office project area could be reinforced with two candidates who already have in-depth knowledge and are anchored in the team.
New, competent employees have been found for the positions that have become vacant due to the change, some of which we have already introduced to you here.
