With comprehensive functionality, our licence plate recognition system License Plate+ simplifies your access control and yard management with a recognition rate of over 95% and also relieves the staff at the entrance. With each update, new functions and optimisations are added to our application. We regularly provide information about these in the release notes for the DIVIS products. Since the functionality of License Plate+ has increased considerably over time with these updates, we will give you a summary of the current scope of our licence plate recognition in this issue.

License Plate+ for automatic license plate recognition
Faster check-in at the entrance and comprehensive yard management
The database-supported licence plate recognition system License Plate+ enables automatic licence plate detection via video camera with a recognition rate of over 95%.
The system can be precisely tailored to your needs. It relieves your staff at the entrance and exit, simplifies your yard management and improves the overview of access and exit as well as traffic on the premises. Informative evaluations also help to regulate the processes on the premises. These advantages are particularly noticeable in logistics companies with a lot of vehicle traffic.
The system is also convincing when it comes to installation. In contrast to the usual market approach, License Plate+ allows camera installations at a distance of up to 100m. Even over this distance, the high-resolution optical hardware (2MP) provides clear images of the licence plates.
In many cases, this reduces the effort required for installation and saves earthworks for the installation of traffic light poles or the wiring across the yard. For the cabling, extended cable routes on the hall building can be used.
The video solutions from DIVIS are continuously being further developed. In doing so, we also take into account the wishes of our customers. As a result, License Plate+ now offers a considerable performance spectrum with numerous user-friendly functions, which we present to you here.

DIVIS BEHIND THE SCENES
Christian Köhrsen – Coordinator for field operations of the DIVIS service team
For a quarter of a year now, Christian Köhrsen has been coordinating the field operations of the DIVIS service team, thus ensuring smooth all-round service for our customers.
He had his first contact with Deutsche Industrie Video System GmbH and its solutions 17 years ago. As an employee of DIVIS customer Herbert Voigt GmbH & Co. KG, the trained forwarding agent first experienced the DIVIS solutions from the user's perspective. At that time, he was particularly thrilled by the competent and service-oriented approach of the DIVIS team and the user-friendly software.
Over time, his interest in the technical side of logistics lead his career path in the direction of those solutions that make everyday life easier for logistics companies.
At the same time, Christian is very approachable and always happy to help. He enjoys interacting with other people and is proudly taking on the responsibility of being the link between the after-sales service and DIVIS customers.
His first impression of the customer-oriented corporate philosophy and an employee-friendly working atmosphere on an equal level at DIVIS many years ago has been confirmed for him in the last few weeks: "Due to the culture of agile working, I can contribute a lot of my experience here. I also find this corporate culture particularly motivating and sustainable. The working atmosphere is great," he summarises his start at DIVIS.
He is convinced of both the quality and the benefits of the DIVIS solutions and enjoys "being able to offer a software that is market leading and generates significant added value for the customer".
