BLE locating at DIVIS, Link+ optimised and release notes
Bordesholm, September 1, 2021
Today we would like to draw your attention to an exciting offer in our product portfolio: For scanner location with Location+ in CargoVIS, besides UWB (Ultra Wide Band), we offer tagless BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) locating. With this option, no hardware transmitters are required on the scanners. Their task is taken over by an app programmed by DIVIS, which is simply installed on the mobile terminals. Read all about the benefits of tagless BLE locating in this newsletter.
Today's tip of the month reports further details about an enhanced feature that we had already briefly introduced in the release notes for version 1.7.1.0. With our software module Link+ the quick start of CargoVIS is now also possible via protocol call. This allows you to start our software out of third party applications also directly via URL.
Exceptionally, the release notes from August are followed by another software update for version 1.8.0.1 in today's September issue. The reason: In the meantime, we were able to complete a very interesting function extension in the CargoVIS software for logistics facilities with rotated hall sections. Thanks to the extension, scanner location can be fully used under these conditions as well. This and other useful updates are now available with version 1.8.0.1.

Indoor positioning at DIVIS with tagless BLE technology
As a provider of state-of-the-art complete video solutions, we continuously monitor technological developments on the market and expand our solutions with available added value for customers.
That is why in the area of scanner location we have included high-performance tagless Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology in our product portfolio. This powerful location technology offers one major advantage in particular: it reduces the amount of hardware required, as there is no need to mount transponders (tags) on the scanners. Their task is taken over by an app developed by us, which offers other additional advantages as well.
