Complete overview
Wackler is convinced: in daily operations, the DIVIS solution proves how cost-effective it is. That is why Wackler has now also equipped its headquarters in Göppingen with the reliable CargoVIS II system for video-supported warehouse monitoring.
As a member of the CargoLine group, the forwarding company Wackler recognised the benefits of visual consignment tracking back in 2009 and equipped its Wildsruff office with the innovative DIVIS system solution, CargoVIS II. DIVIS installed IP megapixel cameras, a high-performance server system and the latest locating technology for video-supported warehouse monitoring.
The simple and intuitive operation of the CargoVIS II software with its practical functionality provides the responsible Wackler staff with a high degree of transparency and quick answers. The status and whereabouts of each and every consignment can now be determined in an efficient and time-saving manner. Goods-related processes in the trans-shipment hall can be visually followed, evaluated and documented. The Wackler quality managers are therefore always fully informed. And what is more, the yard management can control the whole area on the network-based control station in the best picture quality. The consignments entrusted to Wackler are recorded at all relevant times and provided with security at the same time.
Conclusion
"The new targeted playback function, the gate status display and the reliable scanner locating system, now with pinpoint depiction on the screen, provide new added value, which gives us targeted support as a logistics company", emphasises Mr Kemmler (Forwarding Manager). "We appreciate the partnership-based relationship and the reliable DIVIS service. Both were further essential investment factors for our office in Göppingen. All in all, an investment that pays off."
