The effects of Corona COVID-19 concern all of us and have spread to every corner of our lives.
It is all the more important now that logistical processes can be maintained. Just like certain areas in production, logistics is essential right now to ensure the supply of medical facilities and the population especially during this difficult time.
As a supplier and service provider for logistics companies, it is our aim to assist you as usual so that your business can continue running as smoothly as possible.
As already reported on March 18, 2020, at DIVIS we made sure to keep our operations up and running and not to stop them. In the current situation we are also facing challenges that we have to adapt to. This also includes strict compliance with official requirements.
As part of the mandated "Social Distancing", we have meanwhile switched our entire office to work from the home office.
We have implemented regulations and measures for our field service and project implementation, enabling our colleagues to work again within Germany to a limited extent.
For our on-site services that means
In the event of a malfunction/ emergency, we guide and support you as a DIVIS customer so that you can ensure your processes in the hall. The health of our customers and employees is, of course, a top priority for us.
Colleagues who are considered for an assignment are dispatched as regionally as possible to areas around their own places of residence, which are distributed throughout Germany, so that they have the shortest possible travel routes. In addition, unless otherwise feasible, we have rented motorhomes as an alternative to hotel rooms, in order to reduce the personal contact with other people, which are often hard to avoid at check-ins in the hotel, at the reception or at breakfast in the hotel.
In this way, we try to protect everyone involved in an emergency operation, including you and your employees, from infection as effectively as possible.
Thanks to this measure, our service technicians are available throughout Germany in the vicinity of their locations and can be deployed on-site if service is required.
All necessary hygiene measures are taken while work is being executed in your company. For example, it is planned to equip our technicians with suitable mouth and nose masks. These are not the masks required in clinics and medical practices, but self-sewn, reusable masks. For the production of masks, we have commissioned a local company from Eckernförde to help small businesses from our region to get through the crisis.
Colleagues are also instructed to avoid direct contact and to keep their distance from others.
We also coordinate with each customer in the individual cases before the assignment about the local conditions and, in addition to our own arrangements, also yield your established regulations and measures.
DIVIS Support
Our support team is still available for you in the home office. In the event of a malfunction, we ask that you create a ticket at service@divis.eu so that your inquiries can be processed quickly and in a targeted manner.
Project business
Projects are carried out within Germany by arrangement. Our project managers are available to you as a contact person by phone and email.
When carrying out the project, we also observe and take all the measures mentioned under the item about our services on site.
DIVIS sales
Our sales colleagues are still available to advise you by phone or video conference. Our employees use "Microsoft Teams" and can be reached via this tool, but of course also via the usual channels by phone and e-mail to vertrieb@divis.eu.
