We wish you a healthy and happy new year and look forward to more exciting projects and a successful cooperation with you.

We have big plans for the new year and our first live appearances with informative product presentations are already being prepared. You will find an overview of all dates in 2020 in this issue.

For our CargoVIS and ParcelVIS software as well as the VISPlayer there has just been a new version released, see more details below.

This time the tip of the month explains settings in CargoVIS for smooth data exchange between our software and your shipping software using our Plus+ function Link+.

Finally, we introduce Jonas Bleisteiner, our new colleague in the service department.

DIVIS at LogiMAT 2020 

Visit us at booth A07 in hall 8

Visit us live at LogiMAT 2020 at our booth. We will present our products for shipment tracking with video cameras in goods handling and the parcel depot. Take the opportunity and explore the functionality and features of our products in various live presentations.

„Artificial Intelligence in Video Management Systems: Use and Limits“

We also cordially invite you to enjoy our lecture on March 11, 2020 at LogiMAT: Under the cutting-edge headline "Artificial Intelligence in Video Management Systems: Use and Limits" we provide interesting insights into our latest findings on possible uses, limitations and future developments. What is wishful thinking driven by marketing in the field of AI and what is already a usable technology? How intelligent is AI really? We will address these and other questions in the lecture to give you a clear understanding of the topic.
We take an objective look at the subject of AI and also show you with practical examples where AI makes sense and where, at least today, other solutions and technologies still bring better results.

Invitation to the customer event "Kieler Daag" with DIVIS-Barcamp

June 24 - 26, 2020 in Bordesholm/Kiel

Do not miss our top event in 2020: This year, we will once again host our in-house event, the "Kieler Daag", exclusively for our customers.
To make this second customer event of this kind very special for you, we chose an exciting, interactive format - the DIVIS-Barcamp. In order to combine the useful with the pleasant, the event is once again held during the time period of the Kieler Woche. Mark this event in your calendar today and join us from June 24-26, 2020.

DIVIS Novelties

June 24th starts with the presentation of current DIVIS innovations at our premises in Bordesholm. In the evening we meet with all guests to network in a relaxed atmosphere. Our event continues on June 25th with the DIVIS barcamp.

Active exchange in our workshop

In the barcamp, topics that currently move the players in the industry, will be discussed. As always, the focus is on you as a DIVIS customer and we would like to actively design our program together with you. Therefore the contents of the bar camp will be determined by the participants themselves. Within the scope of the all-encompassing basic themes of logistics, technology and your wishes as a DIVIS customer, you decide how you want to get involved and which questions you would like to discuss in detail. Listen, discuss or prepare your own topics that are important to you as logistics experts and moderate the discussion, in the workshop you can take on any role.

Participate in this modern and relaxed way of active exchange and look forward to productive roundtable discussions and valuable input for everyone involved, resulting from the joint work in the workshop.

Participation in the “Kieler Daag” including the DIVIS bar camp is free of charge for you. We only ask you to pay for travel and accommodation yourself.

SOFTWARE RELEASE NOTE

New features in CargoVIS, ParcelVIS and in VISPlayer version 1.6.

The latest release version of our ParcelVIS and CargoVIS software products offers optimized features and new options have been added. These ensure both easier handling and improved security settings.

The current releases of our software are now available to our customers.
For CargoVIS, ParcelVIS and VISPlayer, the current version number is now 1.6.

Settings in CargoVIS for an effective use of the Link+ feature

The Link+ function enables the start of a research from your forwarding software with one click. By default, every action in CargoVIS opens a new window, which can be impractical when using Link+.
We show you how you can easily limit the display to one window in CargoVIS.

Our new colleague in the service office, Jonas Bleisteiner

Jonas Bleisteiner | DIVIS

Our service employees in DIVIS support or on-site at our customers are the reliable front who take care of your system running smoothly. Today we present to you our newest member of the internal and after-sales service, Jonas Bleisteiner.

With a background in history and Nordic philology, Jonas is a career changer par excellence. The versatile hobby musician describes himself as highly receptive and flexible.

He has been working in DIVIS support since November 1, 2019, takes care of inquiries and uses monitoring to solve problems before customers even notice that they are there.
He quickly found that he really enjoys working with customers.
Also, he immediately felt comfortable and welcome in the friendly environment at DIVIS.

On the subject of customer enthusiasm at DIVIS, he says: “Customer enthusiasm means delivering solutions that precisely address the customer's problems and challenges. And then make sure that the customer never has big problems with the system. It is best for the customer if he never needs support.”

And what makes DIVIS so strong in Jonas’ eyes?
“The agility that enables a compact and motivated team. We can react quickly and so we often stay one step ahead of the competition.”
