DIVIS CHRISTMAS STORY
Santa and the magic of perfect logistics
It was a frosty December evening in the busy North Pole depot, and the elves were working at full speed to prepare the last presents for the upcoming big journey. The air was filled with the sound of rustling wrapping paper, cheerful laughter and the steady hum of the magical wrapping machines.
But in the midst of this hectic activity, a mistake crept in: a golden parcel with a magnificent red bow - a gift of the highest importance - was loaded onto the wrong sleigh.
A soft buzzing sound caused Santa's notification compass to light up. Santa grabbed his magic tablet and was up to date within moments.
Santa was impressed by how the technology helped to keep track of everything at all times and deliver on time despite the high level of complexity.
The golden parcel found its way into the correct sleigh and the North Pole depot continued its work seamlessly.
The situation showed Santa just how much processes had changed over the years. The growing number of presents that went on their way each year made it necessary to split the work between many North Pole depots. But thanks to the magical coordination of all the North Pole depots, Santa now always has an overview of the entire gift loading process.
Santa Claus leaned back with satisfaction. “It's not that bad that mistakes happen,” he thought to himself. “The important thing is that we can recognize them quickly and solve them effectively.” He was impressed by how the technology helped to keep track of everything at all times and deliver on time despite the high level of complexity.
When the last sleigh was ready to go and glided off into the night, Santa was certain: thanks to the perfect combination of magic, technology and teamwork, every present would end up under the tree on time and in the right place.
DIVIS CHARITY
Charitable commitment - our passion projects
At DIVIS, we believe that the success of a company is not only measured in financial terms, but above all in its commitment to creating positive change in the world.
We are therefore happy to share the fruits of our economic success with people who urgently need help, both in Germany and in other parts of the world. We also support organizations that are committed to protecting nature and implementing important environmental projects.
We are confident that our engagement not only helps to improve the situation of those affected, but also inspires others to become active and express their support through donations.
"We want to share our success, make a contribution to improving the lives of many people and support the protection of nature. That's why we are financially and personally committed to regional and national charitable projects that are close to our hearts."
Find out which projects are moving us this year due to their individual goals, low public awareness or acute relevance.
We present two of our favourite projects in more detail here:
Environmental protection organization Wilderness International
The environmental protection organization Wilderness International was founded in 2008 in Germany and Canada. The team dedicates its daily work to the legally secure purchase of ecologically valuable and acutely threatened forest and wilderness areas around the world in order to protect and preserve them for the future.
Sustainability to protect the environment is one of our company's core values.
With our donation, we want to create a balance, since sustainability is not yet 100% realisable in our field of activity. Our commitment is therefore focused on supporting the protection of ecologically valuable and acutely endangered forest and wilderness areas and making more people aware of the important work of the environmental protection organisation.
Our former employee Vincent Schöning joined the organization in October of this year. We spoke to him about the goals and current challenges of Wilderness International.

German-Ukrainian association “Feine Ukraine” e.V.
Since the beginning of the war between Ukraine and Russia and the large-scale attack on Ukraine in 2022, the focus of the charitable organization "Feine Ukraine" e.V. has been on supporting people in Ukraine and providing guidance and assistance to war refugees in Germany.
The work of the organisation is needed more urgently than ever due to the ongoing war, which is why donations are essential to ensure the association's ability to act.
Our employee Kyrylo Korsun is not only a member of the association, but is also personally affected through family ties in Ukraine. We spoke to him in an interview about the current situation and the work of the association.
