Green logistics and operation of the VISPlayer
Bordesholm, July 30, 2020
Today's issue is about green logistics, because environmental protection is and remains a hot topic. One advantage of climate-friendly logistics: It is not only sustainable, but it also pays off economically. For this reason, processes in the transportation sector are already largely sustainable, while there is still a lot of untapped potential in intralogistics.
But Green Logistics can also bring benefits for the environment as well as the budget when it comes to controlling internal material flows in companies, in industry and trade. We report on the diverse options for intralogistics and present our solutions.
In our Tip of the Month you can find out more about the VISPlayer, which you can use to play PTD2 files exported from our video management software CargoVIS and ParcelVIS. As a DIVIS product, the VISPlayer works with controls that users of CargoVIS or ParcelVIS are already familiar with. Operation is accordingly intuitive. In addition, it offers many functions for viewing and editing the exported video material.

Green logistics with Gate+ – ecologically and economically valuable
Savings are an attractive argument in the pursuit of competitiveness. Green logistics not only makes processes more sustainable, but also more economical. That is why managing the flow of goods in a way that conserves resources and is therefore efficient and cost-effective is now trending within the logistics industry.
While green logistics is already part of everyday business in the transport sector, there is still a lot of untapped potential in intralogistics. After all, the internal material flows in companies, in industry and trade can be sustainably optimised using suitable technologies and processes. Today we report on the many options and present our solutions.
DIVIS TIP OF THE MONTH
VISPlayer – Playback of video sequences from CargoVIS and ParcelVIS
Film sequences from the video management software CargoVIS and ParcelVIS can also be exported as PTD2 in addition to the AVI format.
DIVIS has developed its own player for the playback of the PTD2 format, the VISPlayer.
The application offers various advantages for the playback and further processing of your exported video material. Many of the functions known from CargoVIS and ParcelVIS can be found in the player, which is why the operation, especially for users who already use our software, feels very self-explanatory and intuitive. The player runs on conventional office computers with Microsoft Windows operating systems from Windows XP. The only requirement for use is the installation of the Microsoft .NET Framework from version 4.0.
In today's tip of the month we will introduce you to the functions of the VISPlayer.
