Location+ for scanner locating, now with tagless Bluetooth® Low Energy
With Location+ you can easily and quickly locate hand-held scanners (or people or means of transport) in your cross dock with a precision of up to +/- 50 cm. A red dot in the site plan of your logistics hall and in all images belonging to the scan point visualises the exact scanner position for you. The application integrates seamlessly and without interruption into your processes. Double scans* are no longer necessary. Your employees simply scan the goods with their mobile terminals. The scan events as well as the location data are automatically recorded in the background and linked to the recorded video material in the CargoVIS database. During a consignment search, the corresponding images are displayed accordingly.
Even more advantages with less hardware
For the greatest possible added value, especially when many scanners have to be integrated into the locating system, we now offer Location+ with tagless Bluetooth LE (= Bluetooth Low Energy) in addition to Ultra Wide Band (UWB). In this case, "tagless" means that the installation of additional hardware (transponders or locating tags) on the scanners, which is usually required with other locating technologies, is not necessary. Their function is taken over by a Bluetooth LE app developed by us, which is installed on the scanners. We will also present this app to you at the trade fair. The only requirement for the scanners: Android operating system and Bluetooth capability.

*With the double scan method, a barcode is first scanned in the respective hall section or a relation (e.g. door number) is entered in the scanner before processing the consignments. This links the camera in that part of the hall to the hand-held scanner. The consignments are then scanned.
360° Concept for CEP providers
The 360° concept developed by us is a cost-efficient solution with full functionality for parcel research. For this purpose, DIVIS has integrated 360° cameras into the proven ParcelVIS software.
The solution allows for savings on the number of cameras, cabling and installation, while still delivering the same complete overview of relevant parts of the hall, such as contractor areas.
Thanks to our software, orientation in the 360° images is extremely easy and user-friendly. Users work with so-called virtual cameras. These are sections of the 360° images provided by the software for research purposes. They only show the relevant image area in the respective case. Even axis crossings are converted in the software before being displayed in order to guarantee unambiguous views at all times.

Picture+ for display of individual images on end devices
With the Picture+ add-on module, individual still images from CargoVIS can be displayed throughout the company in a client on various end devices, for example hall scanners or other mobile devices. In this way, automated provision is also possible in some applications such as Transport Management (TMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Quick access to this information can significantly speed up shipment research and claims handling during loading and unloading.
Employees with mobile terminals can have the location of a consignment displayed as a single image directly on their end device or they can forward damage images directly from their device to the damage claims department.
Other areas of application are route planning and load optimisation.
The Picture+ web interface for image provision runs on your Windows server and enables access to image data from the DIVIS recorder.
Single image retrieval is easily done via a shipment number or by entering a time stamp and area name. Access can be set up company-wide, but also via a secure connection in an external branch, the head office or mobile on the road.
Especially for Android scanners, the Picture+ interface query has been integrated into the TISLOG intra app by our partner TIS GmbH.
