French logistics company significantly increases efficiency in handling processes
CargoVIS with indoor positioning enables high quality standards at DGS Transports
Continuously growing shipment volumes paired with tightly calculated delivery times are the standard in today's logistics world. Looking at the sheer volume of goods, it is not uncommon for a consignment to be lost or take an unplanned route. As a consequence, it is essential for transport companies to always have a complete overview of their shipments - across all flows of goods. Obviously a purely manual search without any additional tools is simply far too complex and time-consuming with such an abundance of consignments. It is therefore important to rely on smart, intuitive technologies.
For this reason, the French freight forwarding company DGS Transports was also looking for a suitable solution to track the goods in the 6,000 square metre cross dock conveniently, quickly and reliably. The transport specialist became aware of DIVIS through its German partner in the CargoLine general cargo network and opted for its CargoVIS video management solution in combination with the Location+ plus feature module, an indoor positioning system developed by DIVIS partner Quuppa. Therefore, the video management system from DIVIS is not only being used by many French customers in the parcel industry, but also increasingly in the French cargo market.

In the first quarter of 2024, we were able to win a pleasing number of new customers for a cooperation with DIVIS and further strengthen various existing partnerships through new projects. More than 60 new projects in over 10 countries are not only a confirmation of the added value of our solutions, but also active praise for the commitment of our more than 100 employees, who ensure outstanding service quality every day in all areas.
Today, DIVIS customers at more than 650 locations in 23 countries rely on our video management solutions to optimise their logistics processes. The high level of trust in DIVIS is reflected in our long-term business relationships, a steadily growing team and our expansion into new markets.

On the pulse of the industry: DIVIS explores LogiMAT 2024
This year, our colleagues Hendrik Reger and Sven Rautenberg went on a special mission to one of the most important international industry events, the LogiMAT - with a keen eye and an open ear to the market. The focus was on understanding the needs of logistics companies in detail and exploring new technologies.
Our goal is to tailor our offerings precisely to the current requirements and needs in intralogistics. By continuously developing our products further and introducing innovative solutions, we strive to provide our customers the best possible service. For maximum profitability and long product lifecycles, we rely on modern as well as proven technologies, which also convince through quality and reliability.
Trade fairs and other events offer us the rare opportunity to have a dialogue with customers and interested parties in a concentrated setting, to identify trends and to establish contacts with potential partners. LogiMAT offers an ideal platform for these purposes. This is where leading figures in intralogistics meet as exhibitors and visitors.
Our colleagues' visit to the stand of our technology partner Metrilus quickly developed into an active dialogue with customers and interested parties. Here, the MetriXFreight technology applied in our Dimension+ solution for automatic volume measurement was visually demonstrated, allowing users to see this state-of-the-art solution in use for themselves.
The lively dialogue continued in many other conversations with customers, interested parties and partners. With many new impulses, this visit to LogiMAT was a complete success for us.

LogiMAT 2024 - popular platform for innovation
Every year, the LogiMAT trade fair offers an up-to-date and comprehensive market overview of intralogistics requirements. This year, this overview covered around 67,000 square metres and attracted more than 1,600 exhibitors and a record number of 67,420 trade visitors from 40 countries. With around 150 exhibitors taking part for the first time, the trade fair was once again a popular platform for innovation.
The digital transformation, which is meanwhile considered a competitive requirement also in warehouse logistics, requires innovative technologies and sophisticated concepts to increase efficiency and reduce costs. This year, process optimisation, automation, real-time data exchange, energy efficiency, smart networking and security were among the key topics at the trade fair.
In addition, solutions that utilise artificial intelligence, big data or virtual reality, as well as autonomous system solutions, were increasingly being showcased.
Olof Bracker: The new member of our sales team - Key Account Manager for the D-A-CH region!
Some of our customers have already had the pleasure of getting to know our new Key Account Manager Olof Bracker. Today we would like to officially introduce you to our new colleague.
Olof joined the DIVIS team in mid-January 2024 and is dedicated to maintaining customer relationships and the acquisition of new customers.
What began as a chance encounter on social media developed into a new career opportunity for the communicative business graduate at one of the leading providers of video management solutions in intralogistics. The product solutions, the customer philosophy and the agile working culture at DIVIS particularly appealed to him. According to Olof, the final push for the application came from "good conversations with a lot of friendliness". The match quickly became clear for both sides on a professional and personal level.
As Key Account Manager, Olof always devotes his full attention to the wishes of our customers and interested parties in order to provide them with targeted and efficient advice. With almost two decades of experience in solution sales, he particularly enjoys personal contact with customers and the dialogue during joint planning of custom-tailored system solutions.
Olof draws his focus and flexibility primarily from his inner composure, which he considers as one of his greatest strengths. In his free time, however, he likes to trade this calmness for a slightly faster pulse, for example when running, playing tennis or sailing on the Baltic Sea.
He draws his motivation to give his best every day from the strong team he feels backed by and from his conviction that DIVIS solutions bring great benefits to logistics companies and pay for themselves quickly.
Olof feels warmly welcomed by customers and the team. He is enthusiastic and determined to pass on.
