That was the LogiMAT 2018 for DIVIS
Managing Director Thomas Kroll with a brief summary of this year's trade fair presentation
The joint trade fair appearance with the TIS GmbH at the new location in hall 8 was again marked by success in 2018. The frequency of visitors, as well as the quality of inquiries and professional exchanges was extremely high this year. This can certainly be attributed to the expansion of the exhibition space and the inclusion of new exhibitors.
We were delighted to receive consistently positive feedback in the intensive discussions with our existing customers and the many new interested parties. In addition to our successful stand concept, we were able to convince with our live demonstrations, the innovative solutions, CargoVIS and ParcelVIS, and the sustainability-oriented after-sales service concept.
It has become clear that long-term competent support of the installed system solutions and thus the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) approach is increasing in importance alongside the initial investment. This was also topic of discussions with future key accounts again and again.
I would like to thank all visitors for the insightful and positive talks. My thanks also go to the whole team of DIVIS and the colleagues of the TIS GmbH for the very good cooperation before and during the fair.
I look forward to the subsequent appointments and to the realization of further pioneering projects, various dates have already been agreed.
See you in Stuttgart at the LogiMAT in February 2019. We are looking forward to it.
Best regards
Thomas Kroll

Availability test on cameras and servers
For smooth camera surveillance, working cameras and servers are the prerequisite. CargoVIS, our software for video management in transshipment warehouses, offers both a manual and an automated status check function for the cameras and servers in use, which we would like to introduce to you in more detail today.
DIVIS BEHIND THE SCENES
Our team in purchasing
Meet our colleague in purchasing, Dalina Schmüser, today. Among other things, she ensures that project materials are available on time and negotiates prices with our suppliers, so that we can always make you the best offer.
Dalina started her apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in resource planning at DIVIS in 2014, meanwhile moved to the back office and took over tasks in operational purchasing after completing her training in mid-2017. In particular, she is responsible for the timely procurement and management of all project materials, warehouse management, the provision of service materials and the adherence to delivery dates.
She explains her motivation: "Already during my apprenticeship, my focus was on purchasing, and I enjoy working with suppliers and the flexibility and spontaneity in the project business. In my position at purchasing I also like to work with all divisions at DIVIS. I am particularly motivated when a project can be handed over to enthusiastic customers. In addition, my work allows me to actively contribute to shaping the future of DIVIS. "
She particularly appreciates the working climate at DIVIS and that decisions are made "in a team and not from above".
Self dependent work, respectful and friendly tone and "an excellent communication" culture contribute much to the special DIVIS team spirit in her opinion.
In addition to the know-how of the employees, which has grown over years, Dalina regards the creative power that emerges from this special cohesion as one of the special strengths of DIVIS.
